01 · Profile
Know the file before you trust it.
Every upload is summarised the moment it lands, so you find out what you are working with before you spend a day on it.
- Shape
- Rows, columns, and what kind of data each column holds.
- Gaps
- Blanks and duplicates counted per column, with the rows they sit on.
- Insights
- Anything out of place is flagged and explained in plain language.
02 · Transform
Map it to the target system.
Convert an extract into Workday, Oracle HCM or SAP HCM shape. Bring a mapping workbook, re-use one from an earlier workflow, or let Vali build it.
- Vali
- Infers the mapping and gives a reason for every row. Uncertain matches are marked for you to confirm.
- Crosswalks
- Source codes are translated to the values the target system expects.
- Dates
- Written in the target system's own load format.
03 · Validate
Every rule, on every row.
Missing values, wrong formats, duplicates, dates that do not line up. The things a person catches on row 40 and misses on row 4,000.
- Rule packages
- Built-in rules for each target system, plus any rule sheet of your own.
- Severity
- Blocking problems stay separate from warnings, because only one of them stops a go-live.
- Fixes
- Suggested corrections, edits in place, and a re-run that shows what is left.

04 · Populate
Fill the template you will load.
Fill a blank loading template from the prepared data: a Workday EIB, an Oracle HDL file, or any Excel load sheet. Vali suggests what goes in each column, and nothing is written until you confirm it.

- Workday EIBs, Oracle HDL files and Excel load sheets, filled in place so other sheets and dropdowns are kept.
- Crosswalks
- Pick a crosswalk table for a field, and its codes are translated as the template is filled.
- Saved mappings
- Save a confirmed mapping to the project and reuse it on the next load.
05 · Compare
Did the load land as intended?
Match the file you loaded against a report pulled back out of the system, record by record on a key you choose.
- Records
- Matched, missing, and extra records, counted and listed.
- Values
- Mismatches by field, so one field wrong on every row shows as one fix.
- Formatting
- Report formatting is forgiven. A dropped leading zero still counts.
